RINALDI ANNOUNCES GREEN FUNDING FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS

Northumberland-Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi is announcing new funding to help make local schools greener. Four local school boards will benefit from some of Ontario's Cap and trade funds. Rinaldi says the money will go towards making the schools in his riding more green.

New mandatory multi-residential tax rates have been implemented in Northumberland County - and the good news is it has gone down. Glen Dees, the director of finance and treasurer for the County, says the tax drop will affect new builds only.

Kingston's country rock band took to the Lions Pavilion stage on Sunday night, as part of an annual concert series supporting community projects across Belleville. Hundreds packed Zwicks Park as Ambush rocked the stage for the Lions Club's annual Concerts on the Bay.

LCBO WORKERS REACH TENTATIVE AGREEMENT

A tentative contract agreement has been reached averting a strike by LCBO workers. The agreement was announced by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union shortly after the midnight strike deadline passed.
