
A total of 60 cyclists burned some calories for an important cause.
The rode from West Zwick’s Park – Lions Pavilion and over the Norris Whitney Bridge for a 45 or 70 km ride into Prince Edward County to raise $5,000.
Proceeds from the inaugural “Freedom Ride for Health” is going towards priority medical equipment at the Belleville General Hospital.
Peyton Bourgeois, an 11-year-old, was the top fundraiser during the 4 km kid ride.
He raised over $520 for the hospital.
