
The Brighton Tim Hortons has made a generous donation to the Brighton Fare Share Food Bank.
A cheque for $2,500 has been presented to the food bank. The money represents all of the proceeds from the Tim Hortons “Snowflake Campaign” to help fund the local food bank and raise awareness of the services it provides to the community. “As part of this town it’s important to help the community we live in” said Darlene, assistant manager of the Brighton Tim Hortons.
The Brighton Fare Share Food Bank is located on Elizabeth Street in Brighton. Its days of operation are the first, second, fourth, and fifth Monday of the month, from 9 am-12 noon. On the 3rd Monday of the month the food bank is open from 5:30 pm-8 pm. Food donations are accepted every Wednesday from 9 am-12 noon.
Any Brighton resident can use the food bank. Walk-in service is available however applicants must be able to show proof of residency in the Municipality of Brighton.
