The Carrying Place swing bridge on the Loyalist Parkway is closed because of a collision. According to the office of the Chief Administrative Officer of Quinte West, a tractor hit one side of the bridge. No one was injured.
No vehicles will be allowed to cross the bridge until Parks Canada engineers are able to inspect the span for structural damage.
