Inspired by true events involving her family, a Brighton author has
written a book about the heroics of children in war.
Liesje Wagner says “Corrie and the Rose Accordion,” is
her mother’s unforgettable testament to the remarkable will and courage
she and her young siblings found while fighting loss, death and starvation during
the Second World War in Holland.
Wagner is Corrie’s oldest daughter. In addition to being a writer she
is an actor and certified speaker. She has two married sons and lives
in Brighton.
Corrie and the Rose Accordion can be purchased in Brighton at Lighthouse
Books on Main Street – it’s also available online.
