A Christmas tree fundraiser is supporting the Sunny Days Group Program in Brighton, this holiday season.
Contact Brighton Councillor Mark Bateman to pre-order your Christmas tree this year, from J&D Christmas Trees in Colborne. Proceeds from the sale of each spruce, balsam fir and fraser fir tree, will be donated to the Sunny Days Group Program this year.
The fundraiser starts on Friday and deliveries will take place each week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Dec. 20 – Payment options include e-transfer or cash.
Bateman said the fundraiser is in its second year – Several volunteers will also be helping with the event, including Classic Rock 107.9’s York Bell-Smith and Brighton Councillor Doug Leblanc.
Angela Flindall added that the Sunny Days Group Program appreciates the community support, to help with operating costs.
