There is an innovative program that is helping to provide healthy food to local residents, while supporting businesses in Northumberland.
Northumberland Eats is supporting residents in the community, during the COVID-19 pandemic –Â Distributed vouchers can be redeemed at participating food establishments throughout Northumberland until the end of March.
Coordinated by Northumberland County and Northumberland United Way, this program is also benefiting participating businesses. $5 and $10 vouchers are being distributed through the Children’s Aid Society, Green Wood Coalition, the Help Centre, police services, mental health services, and local libraries and food banks.
