Ontario’s English Catholic school teachers are urging fellow educators and the parents of students to call on the Ford government to invest in and implement more pandemic safety measures.
These include a mandatory vaccination program in schools. Mandatory masking for all teachers, education workers, students, and visitors in schools. Smaller class sizes to allow for proper physical distancing and improved ventilation in school buildings. There are two Catholic elementary schools and one secondary school in Cobourg. There’s St. Anthony’s Elementary in Port Hope and St. Peter Catholic School that serves Quinte West.
