A person has died in Cobourg due to a suspected drug poisoning. The incident occured in the early hours this morning.
Police were called to an address near Division Street and Swayne Street regarding a medical complaint and were assisted by the Northumberland County Paramedics and Cobourg Fire Department.
The Cobourg Police remain on scene and are investigating the death with the assistance the Chief Coroner. The Police confirm there is no risk to public safety and that if you have information about this, please contact the Cobourg Police at 905-372-6821.
