Tails are wagging and pet owners are thrilled that a new Pet Valu store has opened in Brighton at 12 Elizabeth Street, next door to the fire department in downtown Brighton.
Stacey and Kevin Jordan grew up in and around the Brighton area and have owned the Pet Valu in Trenton for several years.
“Many of our customers came from the Brighton area,” said Stacey Jordan – owner/operator of PetValu Brighton. “When the space became available, we very excited to expand into Brighton.”
Pet Valu is a retail chain carrying food, supplies, toys & other products for pets such as dogs, cats & reptiles.
“If it’s on our online site and we don’t have it stock we can order it in, only takes a week to get here,” added Jordan.
Jordan is thankful for the warm welcome that they have received in Brighton.
“Of course pet treats are popular,” said Jordan. “We also offer a pet washing station, for $10.00, pet owners can wash their pet here. We offer towels, blow dryers and of course raised tubs and this gives them a half hour and we clean up the mess after they are done.”
Following all COVID health protocols, Pet Valu in Brighton also offers curbside pickup and local delivery.
Store hours are Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
