The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority marked 75 years of service during its recent annual general meeting.
Hamilton Township’s Mark Lovshin was elected Chairperson of the GRCA. The elected vice-chair is Jeff Lees from the Municipality of Port Hope.
A report presented during the meeting highlighted a variety of successes in programming and services over the last year which proved challenging because of the pandemic.
The conservation authority renewed its pledge to lead when it comes to protecting the environment, ensuring clean water, healthy land and healthy communities.
