You can add Northumberland County to the list of places denouncing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Warden Bob Crate released a statement on the situation in Ukraine yesterday.
He says that Northumberland County joins the chorus of local, national and international voices denouncing the unprovoked attacks. Adding that on behalf of council, staff and the community, our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people as they face this shocking aggression.
County headquarters will be lit up in national colours of Ukraine all this week as a sign of Northumberland’s solidarity.
