When you donate to War Amps, you’re helping to fund amputee and other disability services in Northumberland.
The annual key tag program is underway. Tags will be arriving by mail. Since its founding in 1946 – War Amps has returned more than 1.5 million sets of lost keys to their owners.
Grafton resident Samuel Hall is among the many War Amps success stories. Born a left foot amputee, the 20-year-old Hall has been supported by the Child Amputee Program. It helped pay for his artificial limbs and he says the opportunities War Amps provided – helped to build his confidence.
The War Amps receives no government grants and its programs are possible through public support of the Key Tag and Address Label Service.
