A Whitby man is facing impaired driving charges following a fatal collision in Port Hope early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, Northumberland OPP responded to a fatal collision involving a single motor vehicle, in the area of Wright Rd on County Rd 10.
Police say as a result of the collision, 32-year-old Daniel Nicholas Thomson of Campbellcroft was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The vehicle driver, 31-year-old Mathieu Richard has been charged with, Impaired Operation Causing Death.
