A new outbreak of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Cobourg.
The public health unit has declared a facility wide outbreak at Victoria Retirement Living in Cobourg.
In the past 60 hours – the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit has reported 58 new lab-confirmed contagion cases and one new hospitalization.
A total of 26 of the new cases were reported in Northumberland County according to the latest data.
The HKPR region has not recorded a COVID related death since the end of March.
