Trent Hills has lost is a seasoned medical practitioner but not before benefitting from Dr. Bob Henderson’s 45 years of practicing family medicine in the region.
Henderson who says it was a family vacation property in Warkworth that brought him to southeastern Ontario – has officially retired.
Since his arrival in Trent Hills in 1977 Henderson is credited with improving access to rural health care. Part of that recipe for success was his involvement in physician recruitment.
Henderson has been the Medical Director of Trent Hills Family Health Team – the Board Chair of The Bridge Hospice and has held numerous medical and leadership positions held at Campbellford Memorial Hospital including Chief of Staff.
