Community Care Northumberland has recently wrapped up two fundraising programs in support of their Meals on Wheels program.
The Easter Cookie campaign sold 451 boxes of Easter-themed cookie boxes from Roda’s Kitchen, raising a total of $3,157.
It was also the 25th anniversary of March for Meals this year, and to mark the occasion local Mayors, volunteers, and others from the community helped to hand out meals to CCN clients
The month of March is a key time for CCN to raise awareness in Northumberland about the importance of their Meals on Wheels program.
