Known best for its Farmer’s Market outside of the Codrington Community Centre, this hall has been the centre of Codrington for 40 years and it will be alive with music every Sunday night.
The Codrington Community Centre Association (CCCA) will be holding its Social Dance Night every Sunday, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm throughout the summer. This community dance is a fundraising event for the centre, admission is $5.00 a person and it is a non-alcohol event. Attendees can purchase pop and water and all proceeds support access and programing at the centre.
Dancing is a great way to be active and social and there is music for everyone.
We spoke with member Candice Gunter.
The Codrington Community Centre is located in northern part of the Municipality of Brighton at 2992 County Road 30 in Codrington, Ontario and is best known for its robust Farmer’s market but volunteers with the CCCA are proud of all the activities that take place at the location.
“We always have something happening here,” added Gunter. “We are excited to be able to bring music and dancing back to the area on Sunday nights. It’s a family friendly event for the young and the young at heart.”
