Port Hope is celebrating the grand opening of the Hampton Inn hotel by Hilton.
MPP David Piccini was joined by members of Port Hope council and the Port Hope Chamber of Commerce to officially welcome Shahid Mahmood and his family to the business community.
After touring the new facilities, Piccini told those gathered that he was proud to welcome such a world class facility to the area.
Sanderson also joined in on welcoming the Mahmood family to the area.
We caught up with Brenda Whitehead of the Chamber of Commerce who told us it’s a great addition to Port Hope.
With exceptional accommodations, as well as a pool and workout spaces the new Hampton Inn property, located on Henderson Street, is sure to be a big hit with both travelers and local businesses.
