The municipality of Trent Hills held several candidate meetings for each ward last week, as well as an all candidates meeting this past weekend.
We spoke with mayoral candidates Bob Crate and Susan Fedorka, and deputy mayor candidates Mike Metcalf and Bill Reid.
Incumbent mayor Bob Crate explained what the next 4 years would look like if he’s re-elected.
Fedorka said she wants to see something different when it comes to council.
Metcalf said housing and healthcare are the two biggest issues right now.
Reid said optimizing the budget is one of his key concerns.
The municipal election takes place on Monday, October 24.
