The young and young at heart chipped in to help Northumberland Hills Hospital with the Lemon Aid fundraiser.
The final tally raised by 20 lemon aid stands was $6420, all in support of NHH
Melissa Allison, NHH Foundation’s Community Engagement and Events Specialist said “Seeing so many children wanting to help people in their community is really inspiring and it gives a lot of hope for a bright future.”
Local businesses like the Capitol Theatre and Headwaters Farm also helped out with stands of their own.
Lemon-Aid was supported by Davis’ Your Independent Grocer in Port Hope who provided kits to get folks started.
Melissa Allison extended thanks on behalf of NHH to everyone who participated and said she can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2023.
