It’s almost time for the Cobourg Santa Claus Parade.
We spoke to Jackie Chapman Davis, Manager of Culture & Events for the Town of Cobourg about what people can expect when Santa comes to town
She said the parade typically draws thousands of people come to the parade every year, and she expects no different this year.
In the parade this year there will be floats, music, horses, and of course the big guy himself.
After previously being run by the Lions Club, Chapman Davis said the town took over the organization of the parade last year.
She said they used it as an opportunity to try out a new date and time.
You can bring your letters to Santa for Canada Post to collect, as well as some non-perishable food items to go toward local food banks.
The Cobourg Santa Claus Parade starts at the library at the corner of William and King at 6pm on December 3.
