MPP David Piccini was on hand with Port Hope Mayor Olena Hankivsky and Coucillors for the official recognition event of over $68,000 of funding being provided by the Province through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
It’s part of $179 million Resilient Community Fund dollars allocated to help communities recover from the pandemic in 2020.
Piccini stated that the funds are intended to provide support for groups in Port Hope to organize cultural events.
OTF is one of Canada’s leading granting foundations celebrating 40 years of grant-making in Ontario.
