What’s old is new again.
The Shopper’s Drug Mart at Jocelyn and Toronto in Port Hope is open once again, after closing down nearly a decade ago.
Classic Rock 107.9’s York Bell-Smith was on hand to celebrate the official grand opening on February 18.
Keith Cancilla operated the store 8 years ago when Shopper’s closed, and he’s back this time for another go.
He said he’s happy to have staff back and see some familiar faces.
Having been acquired by Loblaws in 2014, Shoppers carries PC products and offers PC Optimum points.
The store might not be as big as it used to be however, their offering has grown.
The store includes a pharmacy and is open 8am to 10 pm daily.
