Brighton, Cobourg and Port Hope Municipal offices will be closed on Friday April 7th. Cobourg staff will be back on Monday, but
Brighton and Port Hope staff won’t be in the office until Tuesday April 11th.
Cobourg and Port Hope Transit will not run on Good Friday but both will offer service on Saturday with normal service resuming on Monday for Cobourg and a reduced schedule for Port Hope.

Recreation Facilities
The King Edward Park Arena will be closed on Friday and Monday
Libraries
The Brighton Library will be closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday but open with regular hours on Saturday. The Codrington Branch will also be closed on Friday and Monday, but open as usual on Saturday and Sunday.
Cobourg
Municipal Closures on Friday, April 7, 2023, include:
Art Gallery of Northumberland (55 King Street West, Third Floor, West Wing)
Building 7 Public Works will be closed, however on-call staff can be reached for emergencies by calling the after-hours number: 905-372-9971.
Cobourg Community Centre (750 D’Arcy Street)
Cobourg Public Library (200 Ontario Street) – The library will also be closed on Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10.
Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre (739 D’Arcy Street) – closed but open to members
Victoria Hall (55 King Street West)
Starting on April 10, Cobourg Transit will be increasing its hours of operation on weekdays from 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
Port Hope
Administrative building closures:
Municipal administrative buildings are closed on Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10.
For urgent services related to water or roads, call 905-885-2431 and press * to reach our after-hours emergency line.
Transit service impacts:
Municipal Transit service will run on a modified schedule for the holiday weekend.
Friday, April 7 – no transit service
Saturday, April 8 – standard Saturday hours
Sunday, April 9 – no service on Sundays
Monday, April 10 – reduced schedule (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Recreation Facilities
