Two people have been charged in connection with a road wreck in Prince Edward County.
Ontario Provincial Police say a vehicle that had been reported stolen crashed into the ditch on County Road 1 near County Road 2.
The accused were seen running from the crash site. With help from a tracking dog – police found both individuals.
A 22-year-old Quinte West resident is facing several charges including driving without a licence, driving while impaired and vehicle theft. Also, a 25-year-old Marmora and Lake resident was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, failure to report a collision and violating conditions of probation.
