The Northumberland Humane Society is starting to settle into their new space at 2363 Theatre Road and they’ve decided to host an event called the Bow Wow Fair to get reaquainted with the neighbourhood.
PR and Fundraising Coordinator, Melanie McGill told us more.
The Fair will take place at the Columbus Community Centre on May 27th from 10 am to 4 pm and will feature a Celebrity Dunk Tank with both Port Hope and Cobourg Mayors taking the plunge, a Cutest Pet competition, Arts and Crafts, a Bouncy Castle, Vendor Marketplace, yummy food and much more.
McGill told us the Cutest Pet competition is being judged by a NHS Board member and veterinarian, so be sure to have your pets looking their best.
Categories will include Cutest Dog, Cutest Cat and Cutest Small Animal Contest.
