As Oldies 100.9 continues our series following Brighton councilors during the strategic planning phase at the halfway point of this term, we spoke with Councilor Bobbi Wright to hear what health care initiatives they’ve continued to push forward.
Councilor Wright says the changes they’re pushing forward are the changes being echoed from the public.
Attracting medical care into the area is still a number one priority for Council. Councilor Wright says limited care options leads to residents having to travel for service.
The action plan is pushing forward quickly, and very few setbacks have haulted the process to this point. When it comes to healthcare in Brighton, Wright says she’s accessed it herself, but her family is still making the trip for care.
