The Quinte West Police have charged an individual in a human trafficking Investigation.
On June 23, a search warrant was executed at an address in Peel.
33-year-old Michael Bui from Missisauga has been charged with the following offences: three counts of procuring of a person under 18 years old, six counts of communicating with anyone under 18 for purpose of obtaining sexual services, possession of child pornography, trafficking in schedule 1 substance, trafficking in schedule 3 substance, three counts of knowingly supplying liquor to a person under 19 and two counts of distributing cannabis to a person under 18
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on August 10, 2023
