Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has issued a Boil Water Advisory, effective 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, for all Trenton Water Service customers west of the Trent River, until further notice.
The Community Gardens Arena will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. for residents who are currently experiencing the results of the Trenton Water Service maintainence and subsequent boil water advisory west of the Trent River. Potable water for residents requiring washrooms, showers and small container refills will be available on-site.
For those who can’t make it to Duncan McDonald Arean, coin-operated water stations are also available at the Trenton and Frankford/Batawa water stations. Although, bulk water services are not available at these locations. Bayside Bulk Water will be available for bulk refills at 1 Aikins Road, Quinte West.
This advisory affects all Trenton Water Service customers west of the Trent River, all Murray Ward customers, and customers in Carrying Place, Prince Edward Estates, Kingfisher Cove, and Carrying Place/Consecon Water Distribution System in Prince Edward County.
