MPP David Piccini has assumed a fresh position within the provincial government.
He has taken on the role of Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training & Skills Development, replacing Monte McNaughton.
In statement made on Twitter, Piccini says, “I am honoured to continue serving the people of Ontario in my new role as Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training & Skills Development. I want to thank Premier Ford for trusting me with this important work. I also want to thank and acknowledge, Monte McNaughton for his sacrifice and incredible leadership over the past four years.”
Piccini will continue to serve as Northumberland’s MPP.
Barrie-Innisfil MPP Andrea Khanjin has been named as Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks.
