The highly anticipated 4th Annual Northumberland United Way Radiothon is just around the corner, scheduled to take place this Giving Tuesday, November 28.
Presented by Cobourg Kia, this charitable event will be broadcasted live on local stations 93.3 myFM, Classic Rock 107.9, and OLDIES 100.9, uniting the community for a meaningful cause.
United Way Interim CEO Maggie Darling says proceeds will support the Northumberland Eats program, a collaborative initiative between Northumberland County and the United Way.
The Radiothon serves as an opportunity for individuals, businesses, and organizations to come together and demonstrate their commitment to creating positive change within the community.
Darling estimates 5,000 to 10,000 residents utilize Northumberland Eats every year.
It’s a chance for everyone to be part of a collective effort that directly benefits those facing food insecurity while contributing to the prosperity of local businesses.
Station manager Tommy West says they are incredibly excited to host the Radiothon this Giving Tuesday!
You are urged to tune in on Tuesday and lend your support by making donations during the live 12-hour broadcast.
