Events like the Cameco Charity Golf Tournament and Step Up for Mental Health 5K raised funds, totaling $83,000.
With matching contributions from Cameco and donations, the fund’s total now stands at $88,000.
Since 2019, the fund has granted over $280,000 to mental health programs in Northumberland County.
Vice-president of Cameco’s Fuel Services Division Dale Clark, commended local organizations for their outstanding work, emphasizing the community’s collective effort to address mental health needs.
