The public is invited to a public information centre for the Butler and Arena Creek Floodplain mapping update
A public session will be held on Jan. 9th, starting at 5:00 pm at Owen Gibb Community Hall in King Edward Park Community Centre.
Lower Trent Conservation Authority, in collaboration with the Municipality of Brighton and partners, are presenting the 2024 mapping update, including Arena Creek.
The project, which was driven by climate change, town development and improved mapping capabilities, addresses flood hazard risks.
You can engage with municipal and regulation staff, view the draft floodplain mapping, and attend a brief presentation by Jewell Engineering Inc.
