Leslie from Purpose Thrift Store in Port Hope whose store is dressed up to look like a camera shop told us that the extra traffic due to filming is welcome, but she hates disappointing people.
Port Hope is definitely looking a bit different this week with filming taking place and not just because of parking and traffic impacts that will continue again today. For the most part, local businesses say it’s having no negative impact on business.
So if you’re visiting Port Hope this week, don’t be surprised if it looks a little different.
Beth from En Pointe Boutique told us the filming has brought both ups and downs.
While you won’t get any ice cream from the Derry Shop, the actual En Pointe Boutique does remain open during filming which is slated to wrap up today or tomorrow depending on the weather.
If you do drop by to check out the filming you’re asked to not impede the work being completed.
