Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings has unveiled its latest ReStore in Quinte West, located at 266 Dundas Street, East.
Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity is known for its charitable and eco-friendly initiatives, operating globally in over 70 countries.
With the success of the Belleville ReStore, the organization decided to expand to Trenton, offering an additional 8,000 sq. ft. of space to cater to increased foot traffic and donations.
“The new Trenton location allows increased capacity for donations to the ReStore in our area, which provides new opportunities for sales in Quinte West, a part of our community we have not previously tapped into,” remarked Laura-Lee Bradie, Resource Development & Communications Manager for Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings. “The resulting increase in revenue will help support the various Habitat home builds we have scheduled, including in Marmora, Picton and the 66-unit condominium at 93 Dundas Street East, Belleville.”
Visit the Trenton ReStore Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, for tax-free shopping and discounted prices. To contact the store, dial (613) 962-7526 Ext.210.
