Returning this year, the Cobourg Collegiate Institute’s Spring Market is your chance to get a head start on your spring gardening, pickup some fly-fishing lures or sport the latest styles in a custom made t-shirt – all of which will be available thanks to the efforts of student entrepreneurs and groups at CCI – and these are just a few of the offerings that will be available on Saturday, April 27 from 10 am to 3 pm.
Business leadership teacher Molly Klintworth told us more about the Spring Market.
The Spring Market is free to attend and in addition to some great buys, you’ll get a chance to see some of the
programs, first-hand, that are being offered at CCI.
Klintworth told us that selection will not be problem, but getting everything home might.
In addition to the market, students will also be hosting a barbeque over lunch so you can grab a bite while you’re there and even pickup a BBQ scrapper made by the construction class. Students performers will also entertain attendees with live performances during the barbeque.
According to Klintworth, all the money raised will stay in the school.
Proceeds will also be used to help out CCI’s art club as well as purchase new jerseys for the girls hockey team, so mark your calendar now and support local while helping out the students at Cobourg Collegiate.
