The Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (CMHA HKPR) is currently seeking nominations for its Annual Mental Health Awards and Tam Grant Bursary.
These awards recognize individuals making a difference in mental health, including volunteers, community leaders, and those with lived experience of mental illness.
The Tam Grant Bursary supports students entering post-secondary education with diagnosed mental illnesses.
Award nominations and bursary applications must be submitted by June 21st, 2024, and recipients will be honored at the CMHA HKPR Annual Meeting on September 25th, 2024.
The Achievement Through Adversity Award celebrates individuals who demonstrate resilience and perseverance in their journey towards mental wellness.
The Maurice Lovnes Award recognizes volunteers who embody vision, dedication, and support.
The Caregiver Champion Award honors those who provide steadfast support to individuals facing mental health challenges.
The Naresh James Award acknowledges individuals who champion mental health initiatives and make lasting impacts in their communities.
Additionally, the Champion of Mental Health award recognizes outstanding contributions to mental health support.
The Tam Grant Bursary assists residents of the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge region in pursuing higher education.
