You can help with a new roof at the clothing depot by just hitting up a yard sale at Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church in Brighton.
The fundraising fun starts this Friday and continues into Saturday.
“This weekend, the fundraising committee of Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church will be conducting their annual yard sale – it’ll be held in the church hall and outside, on Friday, May 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.,” said Helen Bonisteel, with the fundraising committee.
While residents search for new-to-you gems, the support will mean a lot – and folks aren’t likely to leave empty handed, explained Bonisteel, adding visitors can expect a wide selection for shopping.
Small appliances, tools, office supplies, picture frames, prints, gardening tools, jewelry, and more, will also be up for grabs.
Monies generated through the yard sale will help replace the “old, shingled roof” on the depot, said Bonisteel.
The church is located at 56 Prince Edward St., Brighton.
