From fresh baked to-go items daily, to custom cakes by order and more, Ma’s Pantry has opened its doors in downtown Trenton.
Partners through the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce and community recently gathered to officially welcome the new business opening.
Ma’s Pantry is described as a bakery and bakery supply store.
Hailing from Trenton, owners Meagan Lawrence and Amy Clarke were home bakers for years and always struggled to find high-quality, affordable supplies for their craft. They eventually fused their love of baking and their passion for sourcing high-quality supplies into a business plan – and shortly afterwards, Ma’s Pantry came to life, reads a recent release.
“We will be offering fresh baked to-go items daily with custom cakes and cupcakes by order,” said Lawrence. “We will also offer a large retail section for bakery supplies to aid our fellow home bakers and bakeries with accessible, high-quality products.”
Passionate about supporting the local business community, Lawrence and Clarke have also dedicated a portion of their retail space to vendors specializing in hand-made gifts.
“Their hope is to become a one-stop birthday shop for downtown Trenton.”
The new shop is located at 38 Dundas St. W. The store is open Tuesday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
