The Campbellford Memorial Multicare Lodge recently celebrated a remarkable milestone: 25 years of delivering supportive housing services to its residents.
The festivities on June 10, 2024, were a testament to the Lodge’s enduring commitment to the community. With sunny skies overhead, the event featured lively music, enthusiastic dancing, and a BBQ, creating a wonderful atmosphere for all attendees.
A highlight of the celebration was the ceremonial cake cutting by Tracy Carmen, who had the unique honor of working the Lodge’s very first shift 25 years ago. This symbolic moment was a testament to the long-standing dedication of the Lodge’s staff and their impact over the years. Lodge Manager Jessica Clarke expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support from both the staff and the community. “It’s incredible to look back and see how far we’ve come,” Clarke said. “Our mission has always been to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our residents.”
Adding a special touch to the event was a performance by Stephanie Mitchell from the Geriatric Assessment and Intervention Network (GAIN). Her energy and talent brought everyone together, highlighting the sense of community that is at the heart of the Multicare Lodge. As the Lodge celebrates this significant milestone, Clarke emphasized their ongoing commitment to adapting and expanding services to meet the evolving needs of their residents, ensuring that the Multicare Lodge continues to be a beacon of support and inclusion for years to come.
