Downtown Trenton’s Festival on the Bay event is returning starting this Thursday, July 18.
The festivities will run straight through to Saturday, July 20.
During the Trenton Downtown Business Improvement Area’s (DBIA) annual bash, you can expect fireworks and a drone show on Friday, as well as the return of the street market, food vendors, and the popular sidewalk sale.
An “artist alley,” will add to the festivities, alongside Kinsmen pancake breakfasts and dragon boat races at Kiwanis Park.
What’s more, there will be various buskers and performers popping up, according to festival organizers.
On Saturday, July 20, there’s a street dance in the works from 7 to 11 p.m., it states online.
To accommodate all the festivities, the city has confirmed road closures are necessary.
This includes Dundas Street West from Division to Front streets starting Thursday at 6 a.m. until Saturday at 7 p.m.
During the Dundas Street West closure, westbound traffic will temporarily be allowed to turn left from the bridge onto Fraser Park Drive.
For Front Street – from Dundas Street West to Elgin Street – a road closure will be in place Saturday at 5 p.m. until Sunday at 2 a.m.
