Police responded to a complaint about a swerving, slow-moving vehicle on Little Lake Road in Brighton.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and found the driver, a 21-year-old from Colborne, allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
He refused to comply with the Approved Screening Device (ASD) demand, resulting in charges of failure or refusal to comply, novice driver refusal, and driving with liquor readily available.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
