This year’s Sidewalk Sale will be three great days of deals from local retailers, extended patios, plus live music, guest vendors, food trucks and some fun activities for kids.
The savings start at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, continue Friday and wrap up at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 3.
Cobourg DBIA’s Carleigh Hunter gives us the details.
All of the downtown business and some special guest vendors have been working to bring their best deals of the season to shoppers for these three days.
Hunter tells us, as in past years, there’ll be lots of fun for kids as well.
According to Hunter, the Sidewalk Sale showcases the great shopping available in Cobourg to local shoppers as well as attracting people from across the county and beyond. During the sale, shoppers can take advantage of two hours of free parking at the Covert and Second Street lots. Visitors can also pay for extended weekend parking at the Second Street lot for a nominal fee.
Whether you’re looking for a great deal, or just a chance to stroll and window shop, Hunter says they’ve got you covered.
Since June, Cobourg has recently welcomed 8 new businesses who’ll be participating in their first Sidewalk Sale, so be sure to drop in and welcome them to town.
Also worth noting, King Street from Spring to Division will be closed to vehicular traffic from Thursday morning around 7 a.m. and reopen on Sunday morning at approximately 8 a.m.
