The Ontario 511 website reports that an engineering investigation is taking place at the Ontario Street bridge on Highway 401.
Wednesday, lane reductions were in place both east and westbound approaching Ontario Street.
Traffic is currently slow going due to lane reductions which are in place to facilitate the inspection.
Currently only one lane in either direction is open.
It’s anticipated the investigation will be concluded by 3 pm in time for rush hour traffic to be unimpeded.
