
Amanda Robertson, a mom of three and her husband, a local family doctor, moved to the area and made Belleville home about eight years ago.
She says this move was large in part due to the family doctor shortage, which she says has become worse.
Robertson has her masters in occupational therapy. She describes that metical role as being based around enabling people to participate in the things they want to, need to or must do to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Roberston says she’s thrown her hat in the ring because she believes the Bay of Quinte deserves better.
As a school board trustee, she witnesses firsthand the problems through the number of calls received from parents.
She shared with us her top priorities she sees for the riding.
