Lower Trent Conservation says it is embarking on an exciting new chapter for the Proctor Park conservation area pavilion in Brighton.
Built in 1978, it has hosted countless family picnics, celebrations, and local events but it needs to be replaced, says LTC.
The conservation authority says it’s a matter of safety and planning for the long-term future of the space.
Demolition work starts Monday, Sept. 30. Plans on a rebuild will continue, with the new facility to later serve the community for decades to come.
Lower Trent Conservation invites you to be part of the new build, and says Brighton residents, businesses, and organizations will have an opportunity to contribute to the project.
