Brighton will light up for a night of holiday magic with the return of the Santa Claus Parade on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
Here’s your 2024 parade rundown:
This year’s parade will once again feature local bands playing holiday classics and with lots of enchanting floats built by area businesses, organizations and service clubs.
The parade starts at the intersection of Alice and Dundas Street, before making its way up Main Street. Then, the parade will turn onto Maplewood Avenue, wind through Chapel Street, make a left onto Prince Edward and then go down Elizabeth Street (Hwy. 2) before wrapping at the Dundas Street and Terry Fox Drive intersection.
Canada Post carriers will also be back walking alongside the parade route collecting letters to deliver to Santa at the North Pole.
Families can address letters to: Santa Claus North Pole, H0H 0H0, Canada.
“On your envelope, be sure to include your return address,” says the municipality.
