
A Belleville resident is facing charges after a crash in Quinte West, say police.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at about 5:30 a.m., Quinte West OPP said officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Old Hwy. 2.
Following an investigation, police said a 20-year-old Belleville resident was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus.)
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused also had their licence suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven days, reported police.
