Kevin MacKenzie has been re-elected as chairperson of the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board for the 2024-2025 term.
MacKenzie’s reelection was confirmed at the Board’s annual meeting last week at the Catholic Education Centre.
MacKenzie, a trustee since 2018, previously served as vice-chairperson from 2021 to 2022 before becoming chair for the 2022-2023 term. Peterborough County trustee Jenny Leahy was also re-elected vice-chairperson for a third consecutive year.
The meeting also marked key milestones for several trustees, including Peterborough trustee Loretta Durst, who has completed three years on the Board, and Clarington trustee Joshua Glover, Kawartha Lakes trustee Mary Ann Martin, and Northumberland trustee Kathleen Tanguay, all of whom reached their two-year mark. John Connolly, appointed in September 2023, marked his second annual meeting as a trustee.
